Heard Chris Evans this morning thanking people for Children in Need donations. Whilst I support the generosity of the chap who donated £23,000 I do think this is a classical example of how wide the gap is between rich and poor in Britain today. For many, including me it was a small fortune. To the donor it must have been small change. Many people do not earn that much annually and I have not earned that much over the past three years.
Bit too soon to blame the coalition so I guess it must be down to modern Labour’s policies.
Small fortune? Its a years salary! Children in Need disgusts me. How to get priced out of charity by the rich.
