With the bathroom re-fitted (still got floor covering to finish because Annette wouldn’t even consider two weeks ago) I’ve been given yet more instructions to add to my War and Peace size list of house rules: close the shower cubicle doors.
So I made the mistake of thinking leaving the doors open so I can get in and out easily was the logical option. Close door once inside turn on shower until I finish and need to get out. However, there is a school of thinking that suggests the doors should be kept closed incase somebody come to look at the shower and it looks better like that.
Now this was too good an oportunity to miss. I took a deep breath and pointed out that, I was alone all day and knew how the shower looked with both doors opened and closed. I promised that if the doorbell rang the first thing I would do is sprint upstairs and close the shower doors, just in case it was a secret shower inspection and that if one of her young women friends called to see the shower I would definately close the doors behind us.
Rule 1349 is added to the book 🙂
