Fbuk has churned up some more bile raising hypocracy over the death of the hoeless girl who froze to death in a shop doorway in Wolverhampton.  I am posting my opinion here rather that on fbuk because I know my humble opinion will upset a lot of the bleeding heart crowd. Not that I really care about that but, see no reason for ripples of anger possibly spilling over on to people I consider Freinds just because they know me.

I only found out about her needless death through fbuk and firstly I am disgusted that this should happen in the UK.  I can understand why though, when you have the clean shaven professional beggars sitting on the streets in their clean clothes, sleepingbags with a  large well fed dog, that she may have been ignored by passers by. However, it seems she was clearly homeless: seen sleeping on cardboard box etc at night when all the bogus crew are tucked up snug and warm at home.

So what made me really angry was all the mass media outpooring of deep sorrow for the poor girl; one comment in particular sticks in my anger glands; I walked past her every night – she was lovely!  If she was lovely and you saw her out there every night why didn’t you help!?  An odd blanket or hot drink, possibly some food might have saved her.  Now we have the self flagellation brigade calling for funds for a homelss shelter and have left gifts of teddy bears and flowers on the empty street. Maybe if they had done more while she lived the teddy bears could have stayed snug and warm in the shop windows.

Just another sign that the country is going down the pan. I hope they do get a homeless shelter, but I suspect it will be too little too late and not capable of providing for all that need it.  I would start by locking up all the phoney ‘homeless’ that are professionally begging so I can clearly see if someone needs help. I am sure there are many others that feel the same. One thing I will not do is buy a conscience saving teddy bear after the event.
