So I have pretty much lost interest in the ‘freedom movement’ until the next stage when we actually get out. I suspect for all the friendly overtones the eu will do its best to stitch us up. Yet there are still those out there ranting and raving about the vote not being fair because they lost.
One of the people I generally follow every post is Danny Peters because they general amuse me. So when I read a comment he’d posted about democracy and the referendum, I read the original post. It was such a load of bollocks I posted a relatively calm (for me) response to the rant that it was ‘undemocratic’ and asked what the author suggested would be democratic.
He never answered the question until I prompted him again after about three rants, His arguement was that democracy wasn’t working because the ‘majority had voted on a lie’. I asked the clown what was the lie and didn’t he think the ‘remains’ had been fed lies. This seemed to get him really worked up, and when I pointed out that the eu had lied and broken it’s own rules (stating examples) he nearly had a fit and requested I left his prcecious post
I finished by informing him I’d be glad to as he clearly thinks he’s the only person in the world that understands democracy and informed him if he didn’t share his posts openly I would never have read it.
He never did answer my other questions. 🙂
