Now I have no doubt you already know how difficult it has become to get an appointment to see a doctor when you need one; this is what I have encountered.

About three weeks ago I had to make 2 appointments to see a doctor at Bilston docs, which I did and have had about 50% result so far – still trying to see somebody about my poor sleep.

I first went to see some doctor about the scabbs on my head and told them that I had used a shampoo whilst on holiday and it all went away. This clearly was of no oppinion to the doctor and I was told I need to have my head examined for “cancer”.  Well eventually I got a  letter through the post telling me they had tried to phone me on my mobile phone but, had no result with that.  Wow! What  a remarcable result – considering I had told the flaming doctors many previous times that I do not use this phone and again gave them my home number.

So as the Royal Mail was delivered two days before it became obsolete, I answered the call and got told it was posibly “cancer” and I had to go into some obscure clinic way north of New Cross.  As Annette had taken an interest in my bonce, she agreed to take me their and off we jolly well went.

It was some god forsaken place about 20 minutes north of New Cross and we found our way their and parked up. Annette was going to come in with me to check I got the right results message and left as a happy chappy.  It took about five minutes to see the nurse, who gave me a two minute look at my bald patch and said it was dermatitous and gave me a prescription.

This meerely confirmed what I had decided was the main cause of my scabby head and I have got some stuff that burns the stuff off.  So much for trying to go to the flaming doctors.

I am still awaiting another check up on not being able to sleep because of requirements to empty my blader, about eveery 3 hours.  On the second visit, I saw a lady doctor, whop seemed a bit more interested in me, and told me to go to a clinic to have my skin examined!!  Well I am not against this and expected it would only take a day so I eventually got given a phone call to some dumn place down by the Villiers, which checking online was about a thirty five minute walk away.

After  about forty minutes phone calls I managed to get in touch with this medical centre and told I would have to go the see them in two weeks!!!  On my walk back home I went into the Bilston Health Clinic to see if they were still doing them – got an appointment for Monday, a mere three days later.  I then had a message from the doctors telling me I had to phone some nurse for treatment – this I thought had to be step in the right direction.

Alas, this was just another waste of time and I still cannont sleep properly.  It turned out that when I spoke to the “nurse” that she was trying to tell me I needed to update some medicine and the doctors would sort that out.  Now I am still waiting to see the quack as low and behold you cannot get an appointment to see the damn fools.  I may go and see the receptionists and see if I can get somebody to see me before I die of old age.
