Just in case I’ve gotten the dates mixed up: we had a touch of lemon and black tea on Sunday and Annette decided she like the lemon tea. I off course got a free sample ‘tea’ for breakfast so she could function on the morning. This was to be the start of the weeks function.
So we were awoke Monday and Annette had the trouble of getting some hot water into her cup for her tea break before breakfast, and we had a pleasant saunter over to the breakfast bar at the Rivera bar. Of course I had my have a dozen half bacon breakfast starters while Annette played about with her mixed up concoctions and as usual brought me back some squashed strawberries. It was a good start.
Next of the day we went over by the pool where we had a relaxing drink or two and did some swimming. There just has to be a relaxing pool side where you can get some quiet drinks and have a good relaxation and this was it. Annette had relaxed that much she put her headphones on my ears and left me to hear some original George Formby music while she went to the bog. This was the life.
The biggest question of the day had to be which night time scoff to try and we had decided to try the “Etalian/Japanese” for a good fry up. Me I was just going along for the ride. Well we got in there no problems and saw some wizardy bloke two doors down play about with the food while we were waiting to be served. They were all yanks and he got a lot of “whoops” shouted out to him as he went through his routine.
Now I was not ready for shouting “whoop” when he came through to our part of the room and nobody else was, so he had a few wasted “whoops” while he got the dinner started. He started by “whooping” his way through some starter fried onions rice, which I do not like, and so he went on until later.
