It has been a couple of weeks since my letter complaining about PeopleServe Wolverhampton and the whole concept of Labour’s “Flexible New Deal” and I am still awaiting some threatening action from one department or another. The head office of PeopleServe have told me they would take three weeks to respond after a thorough investigation of my complaints and in the mean time I am still getting letters from PeopleServe asking me to attend for an initial interview.
Meanwhile, the same office is telephoning me from two departments; one complaining that I have not attended this bogus new induction and the second asking me why I have refused to go back for more of the same old rubish interviews come job searchs.
Still no reply from Ian Duncan Smith either. I have since received yet another undated letter from the Dudley office telling me that all my concerns with PeopleServe Wolverhampton have been addressed and rectified and that they would contact me shortly. That was about three weeks ago and I’m pleased to say I still haven’t had any contact with them.
It is as though everyone is prepared to pretend it never happened. That an ordinary person would never have the affront to question the system no mater how idiotic it is. Very “Gunner Asch”. I am a little disappointed it never developed into a full blown row but, I count it as a result so far.
